Winter swimming is just so exciting

Winter swimming is really amusing and full of fun activity this is the activity of the winter season. In colder countries cold water swimming is done in frozen oceans and rivers and that is why it is named as frozen swimming. In Russia and Eastern Europe cold water swimming is the main part of the festival, Epiphany. In different parts of the world special winter swimming competitions are organized so that people can enjoy the winter season.
Cold water swimming can also be done in the swimming pools where the temperature of the water is maintained at 0 °C or 32 °F. Though it is an artificial way, but this is really good because nowadays many pools have been constructed which give the fun of the natural water reservoir. For cold water swimming special thermal protection suit is designed so that the human body may not lose all of the heat instantly. These special suits are very important because submersion in the very cold water causes cold shock and if the body does not encounter over it then it can lead to cardiac arrest.
Cold water or winter swimming requires a strong stamina, those who are not used to of cold water, then cold water swimming can be dangerous for them. But if you practice on a regular basis, then you can learn the cold water swimming. Other than risks swimming in the cold water has a number of benefits as well like

·         Reduces weight
·         Improves blood circulation
·         Improves skin and its tone
·         Removes stress and fatigues
Winter swimming is almost good for everyone, but those suffering from high or low blood pressure or heart disease should avoid this. Instant shock due to the cold water can cause a heart attack to the swimmer. So before jumping into the cold always consult your doctor.

·         Swim with the wetsuit
·         Always wear wool socks while swimming in the cold water
·         Always use swimming cap
·         Wear special cold water goggles

Now special clubs also give the facility of the cold water swimming, these clubs also provide guidance to newbies as well, so that they can swim smoothly and without any harm. In Singapore many clubs have been built near the sea, therefore if you want to enjoy safe swimming in the sea must go to these clubs.
